Lay's Launches Global Flavors And Contest To Win Trip Abroad

Lay's Launches Global Flavors Lineup Of Chips With Contest To Win Trip Abroad | Lay's

Lay's is giving potato chip connoisseurs in the U.S. a chance to try chips inspired by international flavors this summer with the launch of its new Global Flavors lineup, and one lucky fan and their guest can win a trip abroad.

The brand is launching three new chips inspired flavors from Greece, India and Korea — Lay's Wavy Tzatziki, Lay's Masala and Lay's Honey Butter.

Lay's Wavy Tzatziki potato chips are inspired by the Greek flavors of yogurt, lemon, dill, garlic and other elements, for a fresh Mediterranean take. Lay's Masala chips are flavored with a fusion of spices found in Indian masala dishes, including cumin, coriander, turmeric and pepper. Lay's Honey Butter chips feature a blend of buttermilk, honey and butter, a beloved combination in Korea.

"Our fans often post about the fun flavors they see while traveling abroad and continuously ask for them here. Now, at the height of travel season, we're excited to make those dreams a reality and bring them adventure through every bite of our Global Flavors lineup," Tina Mahal, senior vice president of marketing, PepsiCo Foods North America, said in a statement.

"As the proven leader in flavor innovation with more than 200 variations of our iconic potato chip, we're proud to continue to demonstrate our expertise in crafting delicious flavors that appeal to the unique senses and tastes of communities all over the world," Mahal said.

Fans interested in visiting the international destinations that inspired the new Global Flavors lineup of chips can enter to win a trip for two to either India, Korea or Greece. Between Aug. 12 and Sept. 28, fans can scan the QR code on the back of a bag of Lay's Wavy Tzatziki, Lay's Masala or Lay's Honey Butter flavors or visit laysflavordrop.com to enter for a chance to win.

The new flavors will be available for a limited time at retailers nationwide or on Snacks.com.
