Best and Worst Moments From the Grammys 2025

The Grammys 2025 were on shaky ground there for a moment. Initially, people thought it would’ve been inappropriate to throw the party of the year with the devastating wildfires raging all around. 

But, in the end, it turned out to be an uplifting celebration filled with the most universal thing of all – music. It’s something we can all relate to and, no matter the genre, always brings people closer together. 

Grammys 2025 Highlights

The entertainment industry OG himself, Perez Hilton, said the entire night ended up being very uplifting and not at all offensive – in light of the recent wildfires. In the end, money was raised to help the families who are still suffering from the devastating effects and, if nothing else, spirits were lifted – even if only for a few moments in time. 

We’d certainly call that a win. So, together, let’s take a tour through some of the ups and downs of the industry’s biggest night because many of them are well worth reliving (and already exist as memes). 

Beyoncé’s Big Win

In terms of the best reaction of the night, we have to go with Beyoncé’s reaction. It’s already a meme that will go down in history. Just type in “Beyoncé Grammys” and add that one to your arsenal. She was so shocked by her big win – Best Country Album – that she was frozen in place for a moment – that is, until her beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy, nudged her back to reality. 

Sabrina Carpenter’s Diamonds

Sabrina wasn’t going for edgy at all. She was going for cool, classy elegance and, boy, did she hit the mark. There was artistry (and magic) woven into her dress, seeing as the halter at the front of her gown was weighted down by a heavy cascade of Chopard diamonds. It hit all the right marks, in terms of uniqueness, elegance, and the ultimate wow factor. 

Bianca Censori’s Naked Dress

On the flip side of the scale, Kanye West’s wife’s sheer slip dress was the complete and total opposite of elegance. It was outright tawdry and could only make people think, “Ugh, not these two again.” For whatever reason, Kanye wants all of her to be on display for the world to see and it was utterly and truly galling. 

Taylor Swift’s Little Red Number

Oddly enough, there weren’t any Taylor Swift Grammys this year. To which you might be wondering, “How many Grammys does Taylor Swift have?” She has a whopping 14 Grammys to her name and remains one of the world’s best-selling musical artists. 

Still, we loved what she wore on the carpet. Whether her slick red dress was a nod to Travis or just a replay of a color that looks great on her, we loved her ensemble, all her poses, and the sexy little “T” pendant hanging from her thigh.

Beyoncé’s Wardrobe Malfunction

Back to Bey. After the world stopped turning from her shock win, she made headlines for one more – slightly less fortunate – reason. It appears that, sometime throughout the night, the underwire in her bra decided to go rogue. As the prongs popped out from the neckline of her glittering number, we couldn’t help but wonder how much that might’ve hurt. 

Chappel Roan’s Performance

If you’re like us, you might tune in for the Grammys Red Carpet more than anything else. But, of course, we have to talk music. Amidst a sea of spectacular performances, we have to go with Chappel Roan – that girl knows how to put her quirky side to work and werk it on stage. 

She sang her blockbuster hit “Pink Pony Club,” complete with Rodeo Clowns. Better yet, she was also one of the top Grammy Winners of the night, taking home the award for Best New Artist. 

Sabrina Carpenter’s Flask

Is it weird we loved the little moment when Sabrina Carpenter snuck a sip out of her golden flask – designed to match her dress? No doubt, it was an espresso martini in there, right? Either way, it was totally relatable and we loved her coy attempt to take the edge off – and possibly boost her confidence in a room full of such talent. 

Charli XCX Closing Out the Show

Not only did Charli XCX close out the show with some of our favorites like “Guess” and “Von Dutch,” she did it with a slew of celebrity cameos. Raining from the sky were 10,000 bras and underwear from Victoria’s Secret. Did someone pass a set over to Bianca Censori? Either way, she couldn’t have kept them because VS ended up donating every last item to a local charity called I Support the Girls. 

A Win for the Music Industry

With everything else going on in the world, it was nice to take the Grammys 2025 back to their roots and just have some fun – no politics, no doom and gloom, just good ol’ fashioned artistry.
