Ben & Jerry's Free Cone Day is Back! Here's How and When to Get Yours

I scream. You scream. We all scream for ice cream! Especially when it's free. With the hot summer months right around the corner, this tasty, cold treat in on everyones' minds.

But you won't have to wait until summertime to get yourself an ice cream cone from Ben & Jerry's - and you haven't even heard the best part yet. It's FREE!

This spring, Ben & Jerry's is once again giving out their annual free ice cream cone for Free Cone Day.

What is Free Cone Day?

Like we really care what it is, right? As long as we get come free ice cream. Ben & Jerry's Free Cone Day began way back in 1979 as a way to thank their fans and ice cream lovers for their support. It was also a great way to give back to the community.

After a four-year hiatus, Ben & Jerry's returned last year with their Free Cone Day promo and will be honoring it again this spring.

Ben & Jerry's CEO, Dave Stever, himself scooped free ice cream for customers last year in Vermont

"It was nothing short of amazing to see our fans back in our shops in their full Free Cone Day glory. We gave out over 970,000 scoops across the globe, but we know together with our fans we can break 1 million scoops," Stever stated in a news release.

When is Ben & Jerry's Free Cone Day?

Customers won't have to wait much longer for their free ice cream cone. Ben & Jerry's Free Cone Day will take place all day on Tuesday, April 16th.

Although different locations may carry different flavors, customers are welcome to try all flavors available in the store they choose. Even better yet - Ben & Jerry's encourages its customers to go for seconds or even thirds.

Since Ben & Jerry's has a pretty big goal of one million scoops to reach, take your friends, family, co-workers, or anyone else to get your free cone on April 16th.
