Starbucks and Snoopy Team Up for a ‘Great Pumpkin’ Collection

Starbucks and Peanuts lovers, you better mark your calendar. Starbucks just announced a Peanuts collaboration dropping worldwide September 15, and if the Bearista Cold Cup chaos taught us anything, you need to show up early.

The collection has 10 items total — drinkware, accessories, and a plush — all built around It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. The timing is intentional. This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Peanuts Halloween special, and Starbucks is leaning into every bit of that nostalgia alongside the return of the Pumpkin Spice Latte.

The thing everyone is already losing their minds over is the Snoopy Glass Cold Cup — $39.95, Woodstock sitting on top as a straw topper, little pumpkin hat, green scarf. It looks exactly like the kind of cup that ends up on resale sites for three times the price by 9 a.m. Starbucks clearly knows this too, because they've already put a two-item per customer limit on it before it even drops.

The rest of the lineup is solid. There's a Stainless Steel Cold Cup with Lucy and Snoopy sharing a coffee moment ($32.95), a Great Pumpkin Tumbler ($32.95), a 24-ounce plastic Cold Cup ($27.95), a 14-ounce Ceramic Mug with a surprise Snoopy hiding at the bottom ($29.95), and a Mini Tote with Snoopy and Woodstock ($29.95).

"The return of Pumpkin Spice Latte and It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown are both enduring signs that fall has arrived," said Starbucks SVP of Global Product Experience Dana Pellicano.

How to Actually Get One

The Bearista comparison isn't just hype — it's a practical warning. That cup was gone from most locations within hours. Here's what actually helps.

Show up on September 15 as early as possible. Check the app beforehand to confirm your location is participating. If your closest standalone Starbucks sells out, licensed locations inside Target and Safeway sometimes receive separate shipments and are worth a phone call before you make the trip. The two-per-customer limit on the glass Snoopy cup means things will move a little slower — but not much.

If you miss it in stores, resellers will have it on eBay and Facebook Marketplace within hours. Budget for markup. Last year's Bearista Cold Cup that retailed for under $40 was selling for $80 to $120 within days of selling out nationwide.

Why This One Feels Different

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown premiered on October 27, 1966, and has aired every single fall since — one of the longest-running animated specials in history. For anyone who grew up watching it on network TV, Snoopy and pumpkins and the smell of something warm and spiced exist in the same exact emotional memory.

Starbucks knows that. This isn't a random character collab. It's two things that already live in the same part of your brain — fall and Peanuts — finally in the same cup.

Mark your calendar for September 15. And be there early or likely miss out.
