Olive Garden is giving fans a second shot at its Never Ending Pasta Pass after the original batch of 10,000 sold out in less than a minute.

The chain announced on Instagram that it will give away 100 additional passes through a social media giveaway. To enter, fans need to follow Olive Garden on Instagram, like the giveaway post and tag someone in the comments. The giveaway closes July 27 at 8:59 p.m., and winners will be notified via Instagram direct message from the official Olive Garden account by July 31. Winners will then have two days to claim their prize.

A Fan Favorite Returns After Six Years

The Never Ending Pasta Pass first debuted in 2014 and was last offered in 2019, making this year's return its first in six years. Olive Garden brought the promotion back on July 16 at 2 p.m. ET, selling all 10,000 available passes at $100 each through PastaPass.com.

This year's version stretches the offer to 13 weeks, running from Aug. 24 through Nov. 22, longer than in years past. Pass holders get unlimited build-your-own pasta dishes, along with unlimited soup or salad and breadsticks. The pass also includes early access to Olive Garden's broader Never Ending Pasta Bowl promotion, which opens nationwide on Aug. 31 starting at $14.99 for those without a pass. Fans who don't snag a pass can still get that same early Aug. 24 start date by joining Olive Garden's email club.

This year's menu offers 120 possible pasta combinations and introduces two new additions: a spicy alfredo sauce and a dish called Crispy Shrimp Fritta.

Why the Demand Keeps Coming Back

Olive Garden's senior vice president of marketing, Jaime Bunker, said the decision to bring the promotion back was tied to how much fans have continued to ask about it. "Even six years later, guests still ask us about Never-Ending Pasta Pass, which speaks to the lasting enthusiasm and connection our fans have for it," Bunker said. "Bringing it back felt like the right way to recognize the loyalty of so many guests who have kept it top of mind all these years, while celebrating what they love most about Olive Garden, abundance and incredible value."

The pass has a long history of selling out almost instantly. In 2017 and 2018, passes sold out in about one second, and in 2019, all 24,000 passes available that year also sold in less than a second, alongside a limited batch of 50 "Lifetime Pasta Passes" offered for the first time that year.

For fans who missed out on the initial batch this year, the new 100-pass giveaway offers one more chance to get in on the promotion before it kicks off next month.
