Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have no plans to release a documentary or film about their July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden, despite widespread speculation following sightings of film crews outside the venue.

Filming notices spotted around the arena in the days leading up to the ceremony sparked rumors that the couple was documenting their wedding for a future release. However, multiple outlets have since confirmed that isn't the case. People reported there are "no plans" for a documentary or movie based on the event, and TheWrap, citing an initial report from Entertainment Tonight, confirmed the wedding was not filmed for a feature film or streaming release.

A Private, Guarded Affair

Despite drawing roughly 1,000 guests, Swift and Kelce took extensive steps to keep the wedding private. Guests were required to check their phones at the door, and security screened attendees for Meta smart glasses or other hidden recording devices. Even police officers working the event reportedly were not permitted to bring their phones inside.

The couple also avoided a traditional wedding party, opting instead to have Swift's brother, Austin, serve as her "man of honor" and Kelce's brother, Jason, serve as his best man. Their vows, described as long and intimate, reportedly ran roughly 20 minutes each.

Details Still Trickling Out

Even without an official release, glimpses of the event have emerged. AMC Theatres CEO Adam Aron posted (and later deleted) a detailed description of the venue's transformation on social media, describing the arena as draped in peach and white with large photos of Swift and Kelce displayed at various ages throughout their lives. Footage obtained separately by the Daily Mail showed additional details, including a garden-like reception space with blue curtains and cream-colored seating.

Performances from Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks have also been widely reported, along with a summer thunderstorm that hit New York shortly after the ceremony, followed 13 minutes later by a rainbow, a detail fans quickly connected to Swift's well-known affinity for the number 13.

Could Footage Surface Later?

While there are currently no plans for an official release, outlets have noted that Swift maintains a long-standing relationship with Disney+, which has previously distributed her concert films and documentaries. Should she ever choose to share footage from the wedding, that partnership could offer a natural distribution path, though no such plans have been confirmed or reported.

For now, Swift and Kelce appear content to keep the day largely to themselves, with any additional details likely to come from guests rather than an official release.
