More Than 12,000 Cuisinart Gas Grills Recalled After Reports of Shattering Glass
A pizza oven is supposed to help dinner come together. It's not supposed to send glass flying across the patio.
That's why a new Cuisinart grill recall is attracting attention. More than 12,000 grills have been recalled after reports that the pizza oven glass can shatter during use.
Which Grill Is Being Recalled?
The current gas grill recall involves:
Cuisinart Propel+ Four Burner 3-In-1 Gas Grill
Model Number: CGG-6331
Stainless steel finish
Features a gas grill, griddle, side burner, and pizza oven
According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), about 12,660 units were sold in the United States, with an additional 83 sold in Canada.
Why Is It Being Recalled?
The issue involves the tempered viewing glass window that’s built into the pizza oven portion of the grill.
According to the CPSC recall, the glass can shatter while the grill is in use, creating a laceration hazard. The company has received:
37 reports of shattered glass
1 report of a fire
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported so far.
Where Was It Sold?
The recalled Propel+ Four Burner 3-In-1 Gas Grill was sold at:
Lowe's
Walmart
The grills were sold between December 2024 and May 2026 for between $500 and $750.
What Should Owners Do?
If you own one of these grills, the CPSC says you should stop using it immediately. You can visit Conair's recall website to determine whether your grill is affected.
If it is, you should:
Safely remove the tempered glass window
Photograph the removed glass
Photograph the grill's serial number
Upload both images through the recall website
After verification, you can receive a $500 refund check or reimbursement with proof of purchase.
