McDonald's free cheeseburger on National Cheeseburger Day is available on Friday, September 18th at participating U.S. locations.
To claim it, you'll need to be a MyMcDonald's Rewards member and use the app.
All you have to do is make a purchase of at least $1 through the app, and you can add a Double Cheeseburger for free.
So, the qualifying purchase doesn't need to be another full meal. Think a soda or fries to round things out.
McDonald's free Double Cheeseburger deal is limited to one per customer, so this isn't our opportunity to feed the entire neighborhood for $10.
